Case Study: Welsh Wound Innovation, Managed Services and IT Security, Cardiff
Welsh Wound Innovation, is a unique wound healing innovation model spanning government, academia, health service delivery and industry.
The initiative required a reliable IT Managed Services and Support partner to provide a full scope of Managed IT Services including IT infrastructure installation at WWIC (Welsh Wound Innovation Centre) near Cardiff.
Network Installation (Including a Wireless Network), workstations, servers, data storage, CAT5 cabling including IT security firewall appliances were required. An IT security risk assessment and ISMS (Information Security Management System) implementation were also required.
Evolvement consulted WWIC on the design for it’s IT infrastructure and supplied and installed all hardware, software and network security systems, Evolvement also carried out a risk assessment and implemented an Information Security Management System to ensure good IT security practice for the initiative.
WWIC required a service provider that could offer and successfully deliver a full scope of services and solutions, Evolvement had the experience, resources and reactive approach to achieve this. The new infrastructure has been supported by ongoing IT support services including IT security monitoring and alerting to ensure the organisation remains compliant and has an ongoing strategy to improve it’s IT security posture.
"Evolvement were able to provide the full range of IT services to WWIC and excellent value for money. I am extremely impressed with the quality of service and speed of delivery, I would highly recommend them."Andrew Lewis, Director of Finance, Welsh Wound Innovation Initiative Ltd
